FUNDEMENTALS DETERMINE EXCELLENCE
Born and raised in Cary, Oscar Palacios has always had deep ties to his local community. The majority of his youth development was made at Triangle Futbol Club (Which would later merge with Capital Area Soccer League to form North Carolina FC Youth). During his time at TFC, Oscar would refine his abilities as a traditional forward, becoming clinical when it came to converting chances in the box.
In 2021 he signed for Lazers Soccer Club's First Team, marking the start of career his career at the semi-professional level. He would then go on to play a pivotal role in their squad. His consistency in the First Flight League (NCASA State-wide Conference) would then lead to Fayetteville Fury (then winners of the 2022 National Indoor Soccer League championship) to sign Oscar for their 2023 NISL season. At the professional indoor level, he continued to sharpen his finishing and passing abilities, scoring in almost every appearance for the Dragons.
Concluding a successful season south of Highway 95, Oscar returned to the Triangle area, signing with Central Raleigh FC for their 2024 season. Humble and driven towards always giving one hundred percent, many of the younger talents are looking forward to learning a thing or two from a striker like him.
