At the youth level, Julio Garcia has had an impressive and accolade-packed resume. Under Wake FC and Coach Mark Jonas, he developed into a complete footballer.

  By the age of 18, he accumulated multiple trophies, league titles, and 3 consecutive years of impressive performances for Athens Drive (32 Starts, 13 goals, 9 assists as a defender). 

 

In 2021 began his collegiate career at Wake Tech and within 9 matches for the Eagles, Julio would rank among the top defenders across the conference for interceptions and completed passes.

  Julio is currently in his senior year for William Peace University. After the Fall of 2023, he also concluded his second season of playing for the Pacers and accepted a multi-year deal with Central Raleigh FC.

  With a clear talent for interceptions and reading the beautiful game, Julio Garcia has already capped off 2023 with two "Man Of The Match" awards in 3 appearances. These performances, along with consistent improvements on the training grounds, leave staff with no doubts that 2024 will be one of his greatest seasons yet.
